X-Ray
The
imaging services department includes general x-ray, such
as bone, chest, and abdomen imaging.
A portable x-ray machine is used to do x-rays in patient
rooms and the emergency room.
A portable X-ray machine (c-arm) can be used to assist
in surgery in orthopedic and other surgical procedures.
The use of radiation to do these procedures makes it very
important to only have Accredited Radiologic Technologists
perform these exams.
