St. Michael’s 60th Birthday Party Celebration
2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, 2010
An event for friends and family.  Activities for all ages -- games, tours, ice cream, and more.  Inside, outside, and lakeside.  Please plan to stop by and stay for a while if you can.

New Year's Eve Gala 2010
This year's New Year celebration will be held at Gerard's Dining and Banquet. For more information, contact the Foundation Director (see above). This is a benefit for St. Michael's Hospital, Nursing Home, Hospice/Homecare and Lakeshore Estates.

Funds raised from events are applied to St. Michael's greatest needs, as prioritized by St. Michael's governing board, whose membership is appointed by the City of Sauk Centre. 

IRA gift tax changes after age 70-1/2
The Tax Extenders and Alternative Minimum Tax Relief Act continues through December 2010. Individuals age 70-1/2 and older my make gifts from their IRA accounts directly to qualified charities without being subject to Federal income tax on withdrawal.
